Rangitāne o Wairarapa Incorporated

Rangitāne o Wairarapa Inc. are an Iwi organisation and work throughout the community in these areas:

Environment: Resources consents, collaborations with Greater Wellington, Local Councils, environmental advice.

Cultural restoration: Whakapapa, cultural advice, fishing permits.

Social Services: Care & Protection Services, Facilitate Family Group Conferences, consultation with others, ongoing support & advice for whanau.

Whanau wellbeing: Whanau goal & Aspirations, supervised access, advocating for whanau with WINZ etc.

Pou tiaki tamariki: works alongside tamariki in primary schools with behavioural or emotional issues.

Rangatahi services: Mentoring rangatahi in Intermediate or College, running programmes for Rangatahi, Advocacy for Rangatahi, transition back to main stream education.

Turanga Rau: Education for Primary or Intermediate tamariki at risk, transition back to main stream education.
