Te Hauora Runanga O Wairarapa are Kaupapa Maori and social services.
- ALCOHOL & OTHER DRUG support services. Counselling and education sessions by appointment only – Age criteria: 14+ (Mild to Moderate).
- MENTAL HEALTH support and advocacy – Age criteria: 17+ (Mild to Moderate).
- RONGOA/MIRI MIRI – Traditional Maori approach to your wellness. Gentle touch massage (pressure points), Poultice Sessions, Bars Therapy (whakawatia) – For all ages.
- LIFE SKILL PARENTING – Whanau Led, goal setting for anyone who has children 7-17 years.
- YOUTH PEER SUPPORT – Goal planning, strengths based, mentoring – Age criteria: 7-17 years.
- FAMILY SAFETY TEAM – Home based support and advocacy for whanau experiencing intimate partner violence issues, working alongside the NZ Police.
- YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (YDP) – Referrals from Oranga Tamariki & Youth Justice only.
- NGA KETE – A continuum of wellbeing support, treatment and therapy and promotes early detection and intervention for Mental Health & Addiction issues.
- OUT THE GATE – Assist the reintergration of tangata that have served time or been in remand at any prison within the Wellington, Wairarapa & Manawatu areas.
- ACCESS and CHOICE – A warm handshake into the right service for you via you GP service.
- YMHA – YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTIONS – Support for youth experiencing any mental health or addiction. Age criteria: 10-17 years.
- WHANAU RESILIENCE – 3 – 6 week programme for Rangatahi to identify the root cause of violence and support long term healing through karakia, waiata, art, rongoa and alcohol and drugs education. Age Criteria: Intermediate college aged rangatahi.
- WHANAU ORA KAIARAHI – Whanau goals and aspirations, navigation and support to find the right services for you and your whanau to achieve your goals.
